Ford revealed their new Atlas full-size pickup concept at the Detroit Auto Show. The Atlas has been described as an exploration of technologies, capacity advancement and fuel-efficiency improvement. This design is an addition to the F-series pickups that Ford hopes will becomes a part of their line-up which have been the best selling pickups in America for the past 36 years.
Legacy Ford Ponoka is excited for the potential release of the 2014 Ford Atlas and the new technology and features that Ford continues to bring to the vehicle industry. Ford is set to keep its lead in sales this year and we believe the features that the Ford Atlas will take them there!
Some features of the 2014 Ford Atlas include hidden cargo ramps that slide out from under the bed floor and a tailgate step that doubles as a cargo cradle. Probably the largest improvement to this new design is the next generation Ecoboost 3.5L V6 engine with a start-stop system which is “truck enhanced”. With its unmistakable Built Ford Tough look including big wheel arches and a large grille design, the largest ever seen on an F-150, the Atlas is a sure winner.
