Hi, Eric here at Legacy Ford Ponoka also representing Legacy Ford Rimbey. Today I’m here at Ponoka to show you this brand new 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. Stock number is T1831. Now this unit, being a Sport Trim Level it is very well equipped. Top of the line. It has a 3.5L V-6 engine, EcoBoost, I should say. Also, it does have a 4-wheel drive. We got a nice terrain management system in these units. Now these Explorers, they are such a nice ride you have to come try one of them out. They feel like you’re floating on the road.
Like I said, it is very well equipped. We have our front sensors and front camera here on this model. That’s really nice for you when you’re parking your vehicle. It just kind of lets you know if you’re getting too close to something. And warn you. Now, we do have intelligent access, so keys in my pocket, that door just unlocks for us. As I said, interior, very nicely equipped. Leather seating, totally powered driver seat. We have our 8″ touch screen. With heated seats, cooled seats, heated steering wheel. We have navigation, all the Bluetooth commands. Moonroof. And our terrain management system is actually just on the console there besides the shift. That’s just the dial you turn. So you sound a lot more, snow– no sorry. So it is a very great terrain management system in these units.
Back seat, we have bucket seats with the console in the center. Some more storage here for your passengers. And also, to keep your passengers comfortable, we do have their own control kit in the rear. Back of the vehicle here, it is a power liftgate. And as you can see, on the inside we have lots of room to haul anything around, and actually on the side here we have controls, so those seats are going to automatically fold up the way you want them to. So right now, they’re set to both, and if I hit the normal button they’re going to fold up, so you can have two passengers in the back seat. And then it’s easier flipping up the headrest here. And we are good to go.
Now, as I said, power liftgate, just hit that button, it will come down. There’s a button on your fob as well. On the back of the vehicle here we have a reverse camera and reverse sensing as well. So sensors all around this unit. Help you to be safe on the road.
We have a great terrain management system. Lots of power with the 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine. And like I said, the ride is unbelievable on these things. You have to come, try one of these out. And it being a ’16 model there are some really awesome rebates on it.
