Hey, Eric here at Legacy Ford Ponoka, also representing Legacy Ford Rimbey. Just want to talk about a little tech feature here available on the Ford product. Right now, we’re in a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium, okay. This one does have the Tech package on it so it’s got some pretty cool features. We just did a video on the Parallel Parking so if you have not seen that, pop on and have a look at it.
I want to also show you the Perpendicular Park. Okay, so you can either Parallel Park or Perpendicular Park this vehicle by a touch of a button. The vehicle’s going to do all the work for you and I’ll show you how to do that, so. First things first, as you can see you have a button down here and you press that button, okay and I just changed it to Perpendicular Park, okay. So, when I changed Perpendicular Park, I’m going to drive forward and you see all the cars parked here and it’s going to tell me Spot Found and I’m going to stop, shift into reverse like it says there. Now, all I’m going to do is control the gas and the brake, okay, and hands off the steering wheel and it’s going to do all the work for me here. Going to back me into this spot nice and easy, it’s going to go forward and all you have to do is just follow the screen. Makes it so easy, just follow the screen and it will get you in there nice and tight and it will tell you when you’re finished, so it’s pretty awesome, awesome feature.
